**Description:**Our Client is currently looking to add a Maintenance Tech to their team. They are in the process of adding on an additional 2nd shift to allow their operation the ability to run 24 hours' a day.* Primary focus is on developing maintenance skills and abilities* Follow and promote safety and safely perform all job tasks* Demonstrate respectful workplace behavior* Provide multi-skilled maintenance support focused on customer service, quality, cost and productivity in a Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) and Continuous Improvement (CI) environment* Continuing job-related education is required* Understand the hazards of working on electrical components* Understand, troubleshoot and problem solve issues of basic complexity in advanced electrical/mechanical systems (PLC, Drives, Servo, HMI, CNC, etc.)* Test and perform preventative maintenance* Understand basic operation and use of electrical test equipment* Understand electrical arc flash protection code requirements* Understand basic electrical circuits and safe work practices* Understand basic function of PLC, drives and controls* Understand types of conduit and conduit fittings* Demonstrate ability to cut, bend and install pipe* Understand, maintain, and troubleshoot AC and DC motors and drives* Basic troubleshoot PLC, drives, HMI* Trained to work on energized electrical circuits* Understand trouble shooting process for basic electrical equipment and electrical systems* Understand types and function of gears, the components and characteristics of gearbox setups, problems with gears and gear boxes, and gearbox overhaul* Use necessary hand and power tools to take appropriate action to replace components, make adjustments and recalibrate machinery to resolve issues and restore equipment to operating condition* Disassemble and reassemble gearboxes* Maintain and troubleshoot, disassemble and reassemble hydraulic and pneumatic valves* Understand the parts, function, maintenance and troubleshooting of typical motors**Top Skills Details:**Mechanical ExperienceBasic understanding of ElectricalPLC Experience (Needs experience, or have had exposure to PLC's)Eagerness to want to continue education (100% paid for by company)**Additional Skills & Qualifications:**1 1/2 - 2 years experiencePrevious mechanical experience in an industrial settingGood, positive attitudeEagerness to continue/obtain education (100% paid for by company)* Occasionally lift/carry objects up to 100 pounds to replace motors, pumps, extruder screws, etc.* Occasionally squat, crawl, reach above shoulders, kneel and balance* Requires repetitive action such as simple staring, grasping, firm grasping, and fine manipulating (includes right and left hands)* Outside work required* Working with various chemicals* High work from, ladders and platforms* Working in confined space conditions* Wearing the proper PPE* Handling hazardous waste wearing the appropriate PPE* Working near energized electric circuits* Working near/on hot equipment/materials**About Aerotek:**We know that a company's success starts with its employees.
