White Oak Medical Center seeks to hire an experienced Tumor Registrar for our Cancer Services Department who will embrace our mission to extend God's care through the ministry of physical, mental and spiritual healing.

As a Tumor Registrar, you will:
• Assist the Program Manager with organizing, updating, and reporting all required cases and coordinating activities of the cancer program.
• Perform case ascertainment and conduct follow-up of Oncology patient data information.
• Accurately and completely code and enter all required data into the facility's computerized registry database.
• Work remotely the majority of the time, after an on-site orientation period.
• Attend on-site quarterly cancer committee meetings, 1-2 days per month.

Qualifications include:
• High school diploma, or equivalent
• Minimum of two years working in a hospital cancer registry and abstracting with CTR certification required
• Certified Tumor Registrar (CTR) certification credentialing with the NCRA (National Cancer Registrars Association)
• Proficiency with computer skills, including Microsoft Office
• Strong customer service, communication, and organizational skills
• Functional with utilizing EMRs such as CERNER, Mosaiq, Physician practice EMRs, and other software such as METRIQ.
