The Lead MRI Technologist has an advanced level of expertise in Diagnostic Radiology. The Lead Technologist is responsible for the daily operation of the Diagnostic Radiology department. Establishes and implements policies and procedures for the Diagnostic Radiology department and ensures compliance. Duties include directing and supervising patient care, staffing, and resource utilization as well as serving as a liaison. Qualified candidates will possess:
• High School Graduate or GED equivalent
• Graduate of two-year AMA/JCERT accredited school of radiography
• Minimum five (5) years MRI experience, three years supervisory preferred
• Cardiac MRI experience highly desirable
• ARRT registered (RT)
• ARRT Advanced Certification; MRI Registered (MR)
• State of Maryland Medical Radiation Technologist license required

Work Schedule:

Monday through Friday 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, possible on-call after-hours needed
