Position Overview:
The Business Resiliency Senior Analyst will support the Enterprise Testing and Third Party Business Resiliency Manager in the development of a Data Resiliency framework and governance structure and all other initiatives related to Business Resiliency.

The main focus of this position is to demonstrate the ability to provide analytics and assessment as it relates to matters pertaining to business resiliency enterprise-wide. The initial focus will be initiatives related to standing up a data loss (recoverability and availability) program.

This position performs data analysis to support project and operational decision making; partnering with both business and technical resiliency department resources to research current and emerging technologies.

This role will coordinate the ongoing process of resiliency risk assessment, data loss management, and business process recovery assessment. We must ensure the company can effectively respond in the event of a disaster and that business can continue if disruption risks materialize. You will work with the team to identify critical processes and functions within each line of business, validate continuity strategies, evaluate testing plans, and assess back-up and off-site storage arrangements. Your Impact:
  • Play a critical role in helping to protect Freddie Mac assets from significant business interruptions!
  • Optimize risk management and build operational resiliency to ensure Freddie Mac can carry out its critical missions free from interruption under all conditions and threat scenarios.
  • Provide innovation, thorough and practical resolutions to an extensive range of complicated problems.
  • Work independently, with limited supervision and direction, in determining and developing approaches to solutions.
  • Represent the organization as the principal customer contact for Business Resiliency related to Data Loss and other focused areas as assigned.
  • Interact with senior customer personnel on significant technical matters frequently requiring coordination across organizational lines.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience required and 5+ years of experience working with or within a data analytics environment and/or operational risk environment.
  • Considerable experience performing risk assessments, and evaluating and analyzing data and reporting results optimally.
  • Considerable experience understanding business processes within financial services organizations.
  • Previous experience working at a GSE is a plus.
  • Experience understanding data flows, data integrity, data consumption and the impacts of data to a financials services organization.
  • Proven relationship management and customer/partner engagements.
