Summary

As a Management and Program Analyst, you will serve as the Special Assistant to and report to the Deputy Comptroller. Analyze and advise management on the effectiveness of all management functions in the business unit and support the Office of Management strategic plan, programs, operations and initiatives. Two selections will be made. One position is located in Office of Management, Financial Management and the other position is located in Office of Management, Administrative Operations.

Responsibilities

As a Management and Program Analyst, you will:
  • Facilitate the integration of all management planning with the OCC's and the Office of Management's strategic plans, annual performance plan/priorities and goals, and other relevant human capital, technology, budget, finance, space and acquisition plans.
  • Provide leadership and oversight for the business unit's management strategic planning initiatives, including development of associated measures and reporting.
  • Plan and direct the development of policies, standards, systems, procedures and quality management concepts.
  • Oversee office budget, human capital, space, and acquisition planning and execution. Plan and coordinate human capital strategies and staffing actions for business unit. Monitor budget execution, including setting annual objectives and internal controls. Oversee contract administration for the organization's contracts, interagency agreements and memorandums of understanding.
  • Provide leadership in the evaluation, assessment and improvement of programs, processes and management systems. Devise tools and measures to provide information to management on project status, timetables, and achievement of objectives.
  • Plan and direct requirements analysis, assess future needs for the program elements, and develop and maintain program plans.

Qualifications

You must meet the following requirements within 30 calendar days after the closing date of this announcement:

Specialized Experience:

You must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the NB-V band level. The experience may have been gained in either the public or private sector. One year of experience refers to full-time work; part-time work is considered on a prorated basis. Examples of specialized experience for this position include:
  • Evaluating the effectiveness and efficiency of administrative programs or operations. AND
  • Providing guidance and consultation on management services in areas such as Contracts, Human Resources, Financial Management, etc. AND
  • Identifying and developing recommendations and solutions to resolve problems and issues.

Experience may have been gained in the public sector, private sector, or through volunteer service. One year of experience refers to full-time work; part-time work is considered on a prorated basis.

  • Salary range includes 22.26% geographical pay.
