RESPONSIBILITIES: Kforce has a client in search of a Database Analyst in Reston, VA. Job Requirements: REQUIREMENTS: You have a Bachelor's degree in related field to Computer Science from an accredited University You have 5 or more years of database experience and are able to provide MS SQL Server technical expertise to support multiple solutions including SharePoint You are strong knowledge with MS SQL Server2014/2016/2019 including installation, administration, backup/recovery and troubleshooting You are experienced in designing, installing, configuring, and managing Microsoft SQL servers and databases in clustered, standalone and cloud environments You like working in a dynamic, small team environment You can develop relevant documentation on protocols, procedures and solutions You understand how to optimize MS SQL Server for best performance You understand network, storage, server and application technologies You have experience implementing solutions in VMware/Hyper-V virtualized environments You fully understand and are able to organize and perform backups and restores of databases and database services in a virtual machine environment You like working with cross-functional teams for application support and development for design and requirements necessary to create quality technology solution You are experienced in MS SQL high availability and disaster recover including log shipping, mirroring, and always on availability groups You have experience with Microsoft SSRS and SSIS Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information Kforce is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
