The Biomed Engineering Lead Technician provides support to the team on the resolution of more complex problems. Provides training and guidance to Biomed Technicians and monitors biomedical equipment vendors performing on-site service. Responds to service calls to evaluate, diagnose and perform repair and planned maintenance (PM) on biomedical electronic equipment, verifying proper condition and operation. Carries in house biomed response pager.

Complex Equipment Repairs, "Patient Monitors, Telemetry, Respiratory, Neo-Natal".
Manage Contractor Repair and Maintenance.
Technical Guidance and Training for Technicians.
Preventative Maintenance of Complex Devices
Medical Device Maintenance and Repairs
Share On Call Responsibilities.

A.S. in Electronics, Mechanical Principles or equivalent formal technical training.
5 years experience as Biomedical Technician, hospital experience preferred.
Advanced knowledge of JC, CMS and OSHA requirements related to medical equipment safety standards.
Able to teach software and hardware applications related to Clinical Engineering mission.
Provide guidance and ability to manage and lead projects.
Excellent Customer Interaction Skills.

Work Schedule:

Monday-Friday 7am-330pm

On Call Monday thru Friday 24x7
