Shady Grove Medical Center seeks to hire an experienced Registered Respiratory Therapist for our Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) who will embrace our mission to extend God's care through the ministry of physical, mental and spiritual healing.

As a NICU Registered Respiratory Therapist you will:
- Attend all high-risk deliveries as required.
- Be competent to perform internal and external transports of critically ill neonates as per transport policy.
- Provide respiratory care services by the application of the clinical process in assessing, care planning, implementing, documenting and evaluating.
- Respond to medical emergencies throughout the facility.
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment.

Qualifications include:
• Registered Respiratory Care Practitioner (NBRC) license required
• Active Maryland State RRT license required
• 1-2 years min acute care experience with NICU required
• Active American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) required
• Active American Heart Association Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification required
• NPS advanced certification a plus*

*Must obtain an Advanced Certification (NPS, ACCS, RPFT) within the 1st year of employment.

Work Schedule:

Full-time night shift 7p-7a at 36 hours per week + one 12-hour night shift of on-call between Monday - Thursday of every month.
