Responsibilities

Analyzes results of studies, identifies specific problems/issues, and prepares detailed or summarized reports, including recommendations for revision of policies, processes or procedures and possible solutions.

Performs complex studies and statistical reports by researching, extracting, and compiling pertinent information from various sources and databases.

Uses automated systems to track projects, budgetary information, status of resources, and generates reports, statistics, and spreadsheets.

Conducts reviews with management to ensure compliance with program policies, procedures, and best practices.

Travel Required

Occasional travel - Travel may be required for training and/or work related issues.

Qualifications

To be considered for the position, you must meet the following qualification requirements:

Education:

There is no substitution of education for specialized experience for this position.

Experience:

You must have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent in difficulty and complexity to the next lower grade level in the normal line of progression for the occupation in the organization. To be creditable, this experience must have equipped the applicant with the particular qualifications to perform successfully the duties of the position, and must typically be in or related to the position to be filled.

Some examples of this qualifying experience are:

• Experience applying analytical and management principles in order to conduct specific studies and perform analysis of various program related data.
• Experience applying directives and regulations regarding emergency preparedness programs.
• Experience working with qualitative and quantitative methods, and applying fact finding investigative techniques to gather data.
• Experience utilizing automated systems to track projects, budgetary information, status of resources, and generating reports, statistics and spreadsheets.

If applicable, credit will be given for paid and unpaid experience. To receive proper credit, you must show the actual time (such as the number of hours worked per week) spent in activities.

This position IS NOT included in the bargaining unit.

The representative rate for this position is $95,920 per annum ($45.96 per hour).

Special Conditions of Employment Section:

The incumbent is subject to geographic relocation to meet the needs of the agency.

Appointment is subject to satisfactory completion of a urinalysis, physical, and background investigation. All applicants are subject to National Crime Information Center (NCIC) and credit checks.
