Responsibilities

As an IT Specialist (INFOSEC), you will:
  • Leverage experience with CFPB ICAM tools including SailPoint IdentityIQ, Okta, CyberArk Privileged Access Security, Entrust IdentityGuard, Active Directory/LDAP or similar products. Strong working knowledge of ICAM protocols including LDAP, SAML, WS-Fed, OpenID/OpenIDConnect, SCIM, OAuth.
  • Assist with driving the ICAM architecture forward, identifying requirements, providing thought leadership and modernizing ICAM services in hybrid and cloud environments (e.g. AWS, SaaS) with mobility and automation at the forefront.
  • Gather business requirements and translates them into actionable technical requirements. Work with stakeholders to resolve conflicting requirements and makes recommendations for prioritization.
  • Perform hands-on configuration and troubleshooting of ICAM tools and technologies, as well as analyzing business processes for gaps and opportunities for improvement. Simultaneously addresses multiple technical issues and drives corrective actions to completion in a timely manner and supports the optimal performance of ICAM systems.

Qualifications

You must meet the following requirements within 30 days of the closing date of this announcement.

Specialized experience: For the CN-53, you must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the CN-52 grade level in the Federal service (For qualification purposes, the CN-52 is broadly equivalent to the GS-12). Specialized experience for this position includes:

• providing standard and trusted solutions for digital identity and access management across an enterprise;

• working with ICAM protocols such as LDAP, SAML, WS-Fed, OpenID/OpenIDConnect, SCIM, OAuth;

• leading projects in the application of cybersecurity confidentiality, integrity, and availability concepts;

• experience in the application of NIST Cybersecurity frameworks and standards such as Cybersecurity Framework, Risk Management Framework, and Privacy Framework;

• experience with various IT technology domains such as identity and access management, networks, software development, security operations, and cloud service providers.

In addition to the specialized experience stated above, applicants must have IT-related experience demonstrating each of the four competencies listed below.

CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT:
- A one year probationary period may be required.
- Must successfully complete a background investigation.
- Complete a Declaration for Federal Employment to determine your suitability for Federal employment, at the time requested by the agency.
- If you are a male applicant born after December 31, 1959, certify that you have registered with the Selective Service System or are exempt from having to do so.
