Westat is an employee-owned corporation providing research services to agencies of the U.S. Government, as well as businesses, foundations, and state and local governments. Westat's research, technical, and administrative staff of more than 2,000 is located at our headquarters in Rockville, Maryland, near Washington, DC.

Job Summary:
Westat is seeking an individual to provide administrative and technical support to the recruitment efforts for project field staff, including data and human resource management, training development, and outreach planning. This role works closely with other teams at the company and field staff around the world.

Job Responsibilities: 
•    Use the project information systems to maintain legal records of employment.
•    Coordinate with project colleagues and relevant departments at Westat to complete recruitment tasks.
•    Contribute to recruitment planning, marketing, and applicant outreach.
•    Develop training materials for colleagues about the project's recruitment, outreach, and recordkeeping processes.
•    Assemble reports, analyze data for trends, and respond appropriately to problems.
•    Plan process and information system improvements based on project experiences.

Basic Qualifications
•    A Bachelor's degree.
•    At least 2 years of experience in a professional office setting.
•    U.S. Citizenship is required by contract.

Candidates should have strong technical writing skills and highly proficient with Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point). Experience working in a Federal contractor environment is a plus. Recruitment experience is a plus. To be successful in this role you must be a self-starter; have a strong commitment to detail and quality control, a highly organized approach to work, an ability to learn new technology, and an interest in working with large data sets. You must also exercise excellent communication (both oral and written), manage your time efficiently, able to meet regular deadlines, and work well independently.
