UX Researcher Job Summary:

Do you have a passion for primary research? If so, we're looking for a UX Researcher to join a well-established and world-renowned Association in Washington, DC. This will be a long-term Contract opportunity, and until the world returns to normal, will remain fully remote.

As a UX Researcher, you will design and facilitate product research to better understand the value of the products. Hours will vary depending on phase of work, i.e. planning, scheduling, facilitating, analyzing results and writing recommendations. Hours will also vary depending on location of participants, i.e. expect to facilitate international research sessions in a participant's local time zone.

UX Researcher Responsibilities:
  • As research is requested, design and facilitate product research sessions remotely.
  • Work with product owner(s) to define research objectives.
  • Design product research sessions, recruit participants, schedule participant sessions using Calendly.
  • Facilitate product research sessions, manage communications with product owner(s), participants, and notetakers.
  • Write product research report with recommendations, submit to product owner; present to product stakeholders, at request of product owner.
  • Manage communications and database throughout engagement.
  • Follow e-mail templates and style in Product Research Guide to recruit product research participants.
  • Update database following each research session; include date of participation, type of participation, compensation, and any relevant notes.

UX Researcher Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's in marketing, Mathematics, Statistics or field related to Market Research.
  • 5+ years of UX research experience required, preferably primary research.
  • Experience conducting primary research internationally highly preferred.
  • Organization and communication skills are critical, attention to detail a must.
