As a Lead Cardiovascular Tech you will:

- Assists the manager by providing oversight to the technologists within the assigned area. Maintains an efficiently operated modality in all aspects of patient care.
- Communicates all needs and problems to the Operations Manager, or Director of CV Services, to facilitate resolution.
- Assists the Radiologist, Cardiologist, Vascular Surgeon (or any appropriately credentialed physician) in performing cardiovascular, interventional radiology, or electrophysiology procedures, and is knowledgeable in the operation of all equipment involved in the performance of these procedures.
- Serves as the Lead Special Procedures Technologist and provides educational training, direction, and guidance to staff on interventional cardiology and interventional radiology cases.
-Works closely with the physicians to facilitate timely access to procedure labs, ensures that required devices/equipment is available, serves as the primary point of contact for vendors providing cardiovascular services, and serves as the technologist subject matter expert on interventional cardiology/radiology.

Qualified candidates will possess:
1-2 years minimum experience working in EP Lab
Knowledge of S-heart rhythms, familiarity with Intracardiac ICE machine
BLS & ACLS from American Heart Association
ARRT certification and RT license in Maryland or RCIS

Work Schedule:

FT Days w/ On-Call Hours on Evenings, Weekends and Holidays as needed (Determined by Staffing)
