The Computer Engineer will provide object oriented design and C++ development support for Science and Technology programs with a robotics focus supporting the US Army Research Development Centers.
Essential Job Functions:
Provide object oriented design and C++ development support.
Required Skills:
Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.
Must be able to obtain a DoD Secret-level clearance.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering or Computer Science.
Perform software requirements analysis, design, coding and documentation.
Provide support for integration of simulation components within hardware-in-the-loop environments.
Support software implementation in C/C++, C#, and .Net, on various operation systems.
Support modeling & simulation of robotic vehicles including dynamics, sensors, power systems, and articulations.
Desired Skills:
Strong verbal and written communications skills.
Experience with Object Oriented design principles.
Programming experience in C/C++, Python.
Network programming, ROS experience a plus.
Familiarity with Qt, UML, Windows, Linux, and parallel/distributed processing and computer networking concepts.
