DHCD has an immediate opening for a Program Manager in its Division of Credit Assurance. This individual will be responsible for supervising portfolio managers in our DCA Multifamily Unit. This position will supervise the monitoring of an assigned portfolio of housing projects, evaluate the performance of private firms managing the projects, and plan and implement strategies needed to improve the performance of marginally performing projects. The principal activities of the team include reviews of financial reporting, physical inspections, management reviews, and compliance. The goal of this activity is to ensure the viability of the State’s security and the benefits to low and moderate income Marylanders. Candidates must have a Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university and four years of progressively responsible work experience managing a complex multifamily loan portfolio .
