Westat is seeking an experienced Corporate Security professional to join the Background Screening Unit in the role of Personnel Security Supervisor.  You will leverage your demonstrated experience in federal contract security requirements and your strong leadership skills to manage a team of Security Specialists and collaborate with management to successfully complete the background investigation process.

Job Responsibilities:
• Manage a team of Security Specialists, including the distribution of workload, monitoring of productivity and support of professional development.
• Lead the review of new contracts for personnel security requirements and serve as subject matter expert on interpretation of procedures and contract requirements.
• Collaborate with project leadership, co-navigating the security requirement process and communicating positive and negative results to appropriate staff.
• Supervise the drug testing program and electronic file management system.
• Manage personnel security programs and related databases.
• Evaluate and implement policy, procedures, and forms related to background screening, ensuring efficient and informative means are employed.

Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 5 years of experience in corporate security administration and supervision of teams.
• Demonstrated knowledge of federal contract security requirements and e-QIP (Electronic Questionnaire's for Investigation's Processing)
• Microsoft Office experience, specifically in Excel, SharePoint and Teams.

Preferred Qualifications:
• Demonstrated project management experience
• MS Access

To be successful in this role, you will have demonstrated logistic and organization skills.  Well-developed communication skills (both written and verbal) are also required.
