Job Summary:
Westat is hiring qualified individuals to join multidisciplinary research teams to help manage research and evaluation projects focusing on health care quality, health policy, performance measurement, website design, patient safety, and health care delivery.

Job Responsibilities:
• Leading and working with cross-functional project teams.
• Providing quality assurance of task-related work and client deliverables.
• Developing and managing timelines; identifying and troubleshooting risks.
• Developing agendas and facilitating internal and external meetings, webinars, and large conference calls involving clients, experts and stakeholders.
• Support education and outreach, such as webinars, fact sheets, social media announcements, etc.
• Writing policy briefings and option papers.
• Writing meeting or call notes and managing follow through of action items.
• Conducting literature reviews and qualitative interviews.
• Overseeing project budgets; and conducting recruitment of research sites and participants.

Basic qualifications:
• A master's degree in public health, social sciences, or a related field and at least 3 years of work and project management experience in relevant areas is required.

Preferred qualifications:
• Previous experience working on federal research contracts and/or health services research, project management skills and familiarity with national and/or local health policy and performance measurement.

The successful candidate must have excellent attention to detail and be comfortable and effective working on multiple, complex tasks in close coordination with others under limited direction, and have strong interpersonal and writing skills.
