Responsibilities

As a Senior Advisor to the Section Chief of Investigations, you will:
-Lead the development of strategic and operational planning under the sponsorship of the Section Chief and/or Deputy Section Chief.
- Formulate and refine plans that address gaps between desired state, and current state performance
- Proactively anticipate and respond to environmental risks and opportunities stemming from changes in operational capacity, Bureau priorities, legislative activity, or other trends that may impact the Investigations Section
-Develop and maintain excellent working relationships with other Sections within Consumer Response, and various other BCFP offices.
-Provide high quality customer service and follows established Consumer Response and Bureau policies and procedures.
-Facilitate development of intra-Bureau relationships between Consumer Response and other Bureau offices.

The experience may have been gained in either the public or private sector or volunteer service . One year of experience refers to full-time work; part-time work is considered on a prorated basis. Qualifications

Specialized experience: For the CN-60, you must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the CN-53grade level in the Federal service (For qualification purposes, the CN-53 is broadly equivalent to the GS-13). Specialized experience for this position includes:

• Leading projects, and developing tools, designed to increase organizational efficiency and effectiveness; AND
• Providing strategic advice regarding the development, coordination, and implementation of strategies to address complex business matters, such as, annual strategic planning, budget formulation, data sharing, and/or business performance reporting; AND
• Utilizing project management methodologies, practices, tools and techniques to guide strategic projects throughout the project lifecycle; AND
• Establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with executives, supervisors, managers, employees, and external stakeholders within a dynamic work environment; AND
• Experience applying quantitative and qualitative analytical methods and techniques to conduct complex analyses of an organization's programs, operations, and challenges and to develop and recommend new strategies, policy options, and solutions; AND
• Utilizing change management expertise to effectively lead teams through significant business transformation projects.

CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT:
- A one year probationary period may be required.
- Must successfully complete a background investigation.
- Complete a Declaration for Federal Employment to determine your suitability for Federal employment, at the time requested by the agency.
