Minimal Requirements Four (4) years of hands on experience with plumbing service, maintenance and/orinstallation Experience working with basic hand tools, power tools andelectronic test equipment OSHA 10 Reliable transportation and driver insurability to operate company vehicle High standard of professionalism, work ethic and integrity Strong work knowledge of job safety and ability to complete safety compliance requirements Ability to explain situations and work satisfactorily with customers and co-workers Willingness to learn and grow knowledge base, both professionally and technologically Well versed in the assembly, installation and repair of pipes, fittings, or fixtures of heating, water, or drainage systems, according to specifications or plumbing codes and repairing heating and air conditioning units Ability to take orders and follow through in a timely manner -Journeyman or Masters license preferred Additional responsibilities: Accomplished at inspecting structures, locating and marking positions of pipes, connections, and passage holes for pipe in walls and floors -Troubleshoot plumbing issues to resolution Cut openings in walls and floors to accommodate pipe and pipe fittings Cut, threading, and bend pipe to required angles Assemble and install valves, pipe fittings, and pipes composed of metals and non-metals Join pipes by use of screws, bolts, fittings, and solder Test pipes by filling them with water or air and read gauges to determine whether system is working accurately Install and repair plumbing fixtures Repair and maintain plumbing by replacing washers in leaky faucets, mending burst pipes, and opening clogged drains Aptitude to organize, develop and perform project management skills, including the ability to comprehend job site schematic diagrams, blueprints and other specifications required Physical Requirements: Ability to sit, climb, bend, kneel, pull and push for extended periods of time Ability to drive company van-Ability to work in tight, dark and confined spaces and rooftops, as needed Ability to type and work with hands raised above head Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted, as needed with good vision and sharp eye-hand coordination, and frequently under moderate levels of noise No phone calls please.
