ITAC Solutions is hiring Electronic Security System Technicians to support nationwide contracts. Ideal candidates will be based in the greater Washington, DC area and willing to travel up to 70%. This is an opportunity to support various government contracts across the United States. What you'll be doing: Responsible for installation and maintenance of physical security systems including CCTV, access control systems, IP cameras, intrusion detection and other low voltage systems. Assist with the installation of door strikes, magnetic locks, panels, power supplies, and other components. Work together with other subcontractors and technicians to complete work according to requirements and codes. What you'll need: 4+ years of experience performing installation, testing, and troubleshooting of security equipment in a commercial or government environment. Understanding of various manufacturer systems including Lenel, Honeywell, AMAG, Milestone, Genetec, CCURE, Softwarehouse, Bosch, Hirsch, etc. Certifications are preferred but not required. Ability to read wiring schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals. Willing to travel up to 70%. Ability to obtain DoD Secret level clearance. Must be able to pass pre-employment screenings, including drug and background check.
