Aerotek is currently seeking experienced Fire Alarm Technicians for their clients in the MD area. Ideal candidates will have in depth knowledge of troubleshooting and testing of fire alarm systems for new and existing construction. Must have experience working on construction projects that include fire alarm systems testing and troubleshooting. Job duties/description:Troubleshooting and testing of various types of fire alarm systems for commercial and federal properties.Experience with testing smoke detectors, pull stations, fireman's phones, and stairwell pressurization.Typical fire panels include silent knight and fire light. Programming experience is a plus.Working knowledge of NFPA 72 is neededWill be performing working on commercial buildings, on existing equipment.Safety:The company is taking every precaution to create a safe workplace.
