Our client in Chantilly, VA is immediately hiring for a Counter Sales Rep to join their team. This is a full time permanent role. Qualified candidates will have an interview scheduled within 48 hours of resume submission. Job Qualifications 1+ years of face to face sales experience is requiredStrong communication skills both written and verbal Excellent attention to detail and multitasking skillsPreviously electrical wholesale, lighting experience is preferredJob Responsibilities Process orders, provide pricing information, recommend product substitutes, coordinate orders and delivery of products and expedite sales orders.Sell distributor products and servicesDetermine and disseminate customer price and availability informationRecognize when special pricing is required and provide competitive quotations Understand product applications and assist customers in their selections.Know distributor inventory including substitutes, as well as local factory and competitor's inventories.Expedite customer orders through the purchasing department.Interact with the outside sales reps, the sales manager, purchasing and marketing for exchanging customer required information.Provide market pricing level feedback to the management and purchasing department.Stays up-to-date and informed on products and their uses.Cooperate with accounting and warehouse department in the daily sales processing, including picking up orders from the warehouse to the customer(s), as needed.About Aerotek: Your success starts with the right career opportunity.
