Responsibilities

As Director, Organizational Development and Engagement, you will:
  • Provide key leadership consultation in planning the agenda, content and programmatic support to continually develop and enhance a comprehensive Organizational Development and Engagement program.
  • Provide expert guidance and direction to senior executives to plan and execute Organizational Development and Engagement plans, ensuring leadership continuity and integration of development, engagement, and/or change initiatives.
  • Establish objectives and short and long-term goals in support of the OCC strategic plan; launch priorities for the organization; and direct the organization's resources to ensure activities of the organization effectively support OCC's objectives and goals.
  • As a key change agent, foster collaboration to integrate Organizational Development and Employee Engagement framework policies with other Human Capital processes and policies.
  • Lead, motivate, and develop a staff of employees.

Qualifications

You must meet the following requirements within 30 calendar days after the closing date of this announcement:

You must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the NB-VI band level. Examples of specialized experience for this position include:
  • Leading teams that advise on change management, organizational effectiveness, performance issues, or other organizational development matters; AND
  • Providing direction and leadership for the development and implementation of Organizational Development and Employee Engagement policies, procedures, and operations.

The experience may have been gained in the public sector, private sector, or through volunteer service. One year of experience refers to full-time work; part-time work is considered on a prorated basis. To ensure any credit for your work experience, please indicate dates of employment by month/year, and indicate number of hours worked per week, on your resume.

Education cannot be used to qualify for this position.

Additional information

  • Total pay cannot exceed applicable pay cap, which is $270,300 for 2020.
  • Salary range includes 22.26% geographical pay.
  • If you are a current OCC employee who previously received a waiver determination permitting you to retain bank securities due to extenuating circumstances, please note that this determination may be rescinded if the nature of your duties changes. We strongly suggest that you discuss the potential implications of any change in duties on a prior securities determination with your ethics official.
