Some responsibilities include:Performs a variety of services in the dining areas and kitchen including waiting on assigned tables, taking food and drink orders and setting and busingtables.Greets residents/guests cordially and takes their order within a time frame of 5 minutes after they have been seatedReviews menus with customers and present any special items of the dayTakes accurate food and beverage orders at the tableRetrieves food orders from the kitchen and complete plate preparation as specified on plate garnishment/presentation guidelinesServes complete meal to all residents/guests in the dining room in a timely fashionStocks service station prior to meal service completely and correctlyPerforms side work correctly as assigned according to the side work procedure guidelines and to the level required on the sanitation checklistClears dirty dishes in a timely manner from all tablesUtilizes the point of sale (POS) system to place all food orders and track resident mealsReports any accidents and/or incidents to the Coach on duty or their designee immediately Assists Dining Service team members and supervisors as neededMust be able to read, write, speak and understand EnglishMust have the ability to receive and follow instructions, and communicate clearly with residents, guests and other staff membersMust have manual dexterityAbility to work in a fast paced environmentExperience in high volume meal service is preferredComputer skills helpful, with the ability to learn and use proprietary software as requiredDemonstrated excellent customer service skills
