  • Serves as the primary CFM representative responsible for developing and applying methods to identify, collect, process and analyze large volumes of data to build and enhance products, processes and systems. Will conduct data mining and retrieval, and apply statistical and mathematical analysis to identify trends, solve analytical problem, optimize performance and gather intelligence.
  • Conducts studies and examines systems capabilities and develops simulation models to improve the usability, efficiency, and effectiveness of current operating systems. Studies new technology and proposed changes in hardware/software. Develops and presents written and oral reports and briefings on findings. Conducts continuing research into the processes/steps of current systems to develop methods to improve response and increase user friendliness. Provides technical expertise in the resolution of unusual problems and difficulties with the design and operation of current management information systems.
  • Servers as CFM Consultant on evaluating current systems. Conducts studies on the technical needs and develops recommendation to increase the effectiveness of remote operating systems and communication with Central Office entities. Liaisons with Office of Information Technology for CFM Technical Support.
  • Responsible for planning, designing, developing, testing, implementing and managing CFM Internet/Intranet activities and services. Responsible for CFM Web Content/Master utilizing project management methods to CFM projects at all stages. Manages CFM contractors that support systems/application development.
  • Assists in training session to field engineering personnel and CFM officials to facilitate the use of technology.
  • Responsible for supervision of Management and Program Analyst.
  • Supervisor Responsibilities:
  • Accountable for development of long-range plans for projects in IT Support, Facilities Management, Database and Content Management and logistical needs of CFM.
  • Responsible for supervision of Management and Program Analysts. Responsible for establishing long and short-range goals and overseeing the activities required to meet operational goals and objectives.
  • Accountability for developing performance standards, evaluation of performance, provides advice, counsel or instructions on technical procedures, approval of leave and takes effective disciplinary measures. As the supervisor, the incumbent interviews, selects, promotes, reassigns, and trains employees.
  • Manages and identifies training needs as well as develops performance standards for subordinate employees.
  • Recognizes and develops ways to improve production or increase the quality of work.

  • Work schedule: Required to work Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm.

    You may qualify based on your experience, as described below:
    • Specialized Experience: You must have one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade GS-13 in the normal line of progression for the occupation in the organization. Examples of specialized experience would typically include, but are not limited to: Conducting qualitative and quantitative data analysis and developing reports; AND
      Making recommendation to increase the efficiency of data collections systems; AND Training and creating procedures for data collection systems.
