An international association is seeking a Director of Finance with a commercial industry background to join their executive team. Reporting to the CEO, the Director of Finance will be responsible for overseeing all areas of accounting & finance, contributing to senior leadership strategies, and establishing and enhancing all policies, procedures, and controls. Responsibilities: Day-to-day operations of finance and accounting staff (including two direct reports) Guide financial decisions by establishing, monitoring, and enforcing policies and procedures Board reporting, board meetings, presentation of financial information at finance committee meetings and other board meetings Annual audit, tax compliance, insurance Protect assets by establishing, monitoring, and enforcing internal controls Cash flow planning and availability of funds as needed in various entities Financial guidance in annual budget process and periodic forecasting process Compliance with federal, state, and local legal requirements by researching existing and new legislation, consulting with outside advisors, filing financial reports Management advisor of accounting actions / potential risks Maximize return and limits risk on cash by managing cash and monitoring investments. Oversees accounting for international offices Qualifications and Requirements BS / MS in Accounting or Finance; CPA desired 10+ years in progressively responsible financial leadership roles NetSuite experience highly preferred Excellent with financial, budgeting, and analytics systems; expert level with Excel PandoLogic.
