Network Engineer - Intermediate Primary Location: USA Aberdeen Proving Ground, Maryland Clearance Level: Secret Schedule: Full-time Job Type: Regular Travel: This position may require up to 10% travel. Telesis is looking for an Intermediate Network Engineer who will oversee the installation and support of network communications, including LAN/WAN systems. Required Skills and Qualifications: Experience with Enterprise-class Cisco Routers (Catalyst/ISR), Switches (Catalyst/Nexus), Firewalls (ASA, Firepower, remote access, anyconnect), Client,Windows 10, Windows 7, Linux, VMWare, virtual infrastructure (virtual switches and distributed switching), and system networking. Ability to work on problems of diverse scope where analysis of situation requires evaluation and judgment. Familiar with capturing, analyzing and troubleshooting, and performance tuning network applications through network packet captures. Experience with reviewing and analyzing requests for network connectivity. Possesses solid understanding of IP networking and all associate components. Manages network performance and maintains network security. Administrates and Troubleshoots LAN/ WAN network related problems. Thorough understanding of VPN, GRE and COMSEC (TACLANE) tunnels. Experience with NetApp or other enterprise storage running on IP based infrastructure is preferred. Experience with Cisco CUCM, UCCX, and telephony services is preferred. Ensures that security procedures are implemented and enforced for all network devices. Coordinates with all responsible users and sites. Basic Qualifications: An individual must meet the following criteria in order to be considered: US Citizen Possesses a Secret Security Clearance Minimum CCNA certified Possesses excellent verbal and written communication skills, be customer- and detail-oriented, and possess good decision-making abilities. Must be DoD 8570 Certified (Security+ or higher and a computing environment certification) 2-5 years of network engineering experience. 2-5 years of experience with network access control management. 2-5 years of experience with network administration technologies exp:(DNS, DHCP, NTP, RADIUS, log servers, packet sensing, authentication, authorization, and TACACs; routing protocols (OSPF); virtual LAN segmentation management; and NAT.)
