COMPANY is seeking a Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) to develop, drive, lead, and execute the marketing strategy for the Company. The Senior Vice President, CMO will be an innovative leader with creative, analytical, and strategic acumen coupled with the strong business instincts necessary for leading COMPANY s marketing organization through the next phase of growth. This position will report to the Executive Vice President of Strategic Growth. Roles & Responsibilities Evolve corporate brand drive corporate branding initiatives including a brand refresh, lead external positioning aligned to strategy to drive increase in brand recognition and reputation Build and reinforce brand and corporate messaging guidelines across the company s website, print and electronic communications Design and execute multi-channel marketing strategy and campaigns set and achieve strategic marketing goals related to campaign development and execution, paid advertising, social media metrics, etc. Lead, develop and manage the strategy, tactics, and creative direction for all marketing initiatives for the company to include launches, collateral, customer communications, online campaigns, webinar, websites, and multimedia creating execution plans and measuring adoption Manage external website, content, creative development, and media to align to strategy, drive brand, attract talent, and tell COMPANY stories to our customers Manage industry analyst relationships to drive positioning, brand, and rankings aligned with strategy and growth agenda Develop, build, and manage marketing platforms, to include lead-gen tools, sentiment analysis, corporate and information sharing website(s), communications inquiries, etc. Partner with Sectors and Innovation Group to create targeted marketing campaigns to drive strategic captures and build brand reputation within target agencies, to execute relevant and timely campaigns/collateral/projects to help grow the company, acquire new customers, retain existing customers and assist in identifying new opportunities for COMPANY Manage the strategy and creation of communications, branding, website content, public relations, social media and marketing campaigns with a focus on acquisition and retention strategies Lead, mentor and motivate the Marketing team to support the growth of the strategic marketing plan Apply organizational design/development experience to support transforming the marketing capabilities. Ability to work within and monitor strict budgets and goals Qualifications 20+ years of relevant work experience in branding, marketing strategies and campaigns, creative content design, marketing platforms/tools, and measures. Previous experience as the CMO of a Fortune 500 company preferred. A bachelor's degree in marketing, business, technology, or relevant field of study. MBA or a master s degree preferred. Expert knowledge of creating compelling positioning and marketing strategies and campaigns for the federal government contracting market with proven impact on company positioning/win strategies. Proven success managing complex and multi-faceted marketing programs with the ability to drive projects to completion and deliver actionable metrics. Proven success running a CMO organization, improving organization value-add/contribution, budget management, and talent acquisition and development. Excellent leadership and communication skills with the ability to drive consensus and articulate recommendations and trade-offs to senior executives. Demonstrated ability to be self-directed and work independently, and thrive as a member of a team. Demonstrated ability to tie marketing programs to ROI metrics. Understanding of federal government decision making process and players. Proven ability to lead event strategy and execution.
