The 2nd Ave Store Associate - Back Room role is key to the everyday success within the store. Our Store Associate - Back Room team members are behind the scenes ensuring processes run seamlessly and efficiently. This is a fast paced role, with product coming in and onto the sales floor daily. The Store Associate - Back Room job responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Support loading dock and soft production areas in the store Unload and record trucks; starting, porting, baling, & recycling product Grab & open every bag/box from an assigned skid Redirect all softlines and hardlines (clothes, housewares, toys, etc) to the appropriate team member to be sorted, hanged, and priced What You Need to Succeed: Previous experience within a retail/warehouse setting Minimum 18 years of age - Potential Hazardous environment due to debris Fluent in English, and able to read & comprehend simple instructions, short correspondences Who We Are: We are a growing thrift retailer, headquartered right outside of Philadelphia, PA with a presence throughout the Mid Atlantic Region.
