Facilities Equipment Technician

Provide maintenance and service for all facilities, equipment and vehicles. Assist with mixing and filling pesticides and fertilizers as need. Primary Responsibilities. Repair and maintenance of all equipment. Maintain the restricted status of chemical storage facility and keep it in a safe, clean, and orderly status. Maintain the facility in a clean and orderly fashion. Ensure trash and debris are removed from the grounds. Transport vehicles and equipment for repair outside the facility. Provide assistance with filling tanks with fertilizers and pesticides. Offload and Inventory deliveriesMinimum Physical Requirements . Ability to stand for extended periods. Ability to use computer keyboard and monitor for extended periods. Able to lift 75 lbs. with bending and twisting. Repetitive use of handsOther Functions and Responsibilities. Perform other duties as assignedRequired Qualifications, Etc.. Must possess a valid Virginia driver's license. Must have small engine repair experience. Driving record must pass insurability test. Must obtain VDACS registered technician license within 30 days of employment. Must obtain forklift certification within 30 days of employment. Must be able to read and write English. Be able to demonstrate the math skills necessary to read fill charts and correctly measure liquids and solids. Must be at least 18 years or older. Saturdays as neededPreferred Qualifications, Etc.. Forklift Certified. OSHA Certified
