Adventist Healthcare seeks to hire a Program Director, Ethics Program and IRB Administrator . The Program Manager leads the burgeoning Ethics program at Adventist HealthCare, including research ethics through oversight of the human subjects protections program and bioethics through program development and execution. The Ethics Program Manager champions system-wide consistency and alignment with federal regulations, church doctrine, institutional policies, and best practices related to Ethics while maintaining cross-entity collaboration to assure adherence to Adventist HealthCare's mission, vision, and values.

Qualified candidates will possess:

Bachelor's degree in a healthcare, behavioral or science related field, Master's degree preferred.
10 years' experience directly related to IRB administration and human subject research protection, Healthcare or clinical research background
5 years of supervisory/management experience required
Certification as an IRB professional (CIP) is required.

Serves as principal point of strategy, collaboration, leadership, and expertise for the HRPP and Ethics program to both internal and external constituencies on professional and operational matters pertaining to the Ethics program, with an initial scope of Research Ethics and Bioethics and extending to specialized Ethics areas, throughout the system.

Develop and maintain policies and procedures that are compliant with federal regulations, church doctrine, institutional policies, and current best practices
Plan and deliver outreach and educational activities regarding ethics for the AHC community

Monitor and evaluate operational effectiveness and implementation changes required for improvement
