This position is located in the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, OPERATIONS DIVISION - TECHNOLOGY & INNOVATION

This position serves as the senior bureau expert and manages the deployment and maintenance of the bureau's enterprise platforms (i.e., Salesforce, O365, ServiceNow) and applications.

Responsibilities

As a IT Specialist, you will:
  • Lead or direct large and complex technology implementations that are of high impact and involve complex integrations and diverse technologies, technical teams, and business units.
  • Direct the technical strategy, implementation, architecture, and operations for one or more enterprise platforms and is accountable for its reliability, delivery, ongoing operations, and technical evolution.
  • Lead the establishment of an enterprise platform product strategy, and implementation of service and product plans, including setting and adjusting priorities.
  • Determine technical direction and provides expert guidance to product teams, developers, and platform administrators.

Qualifications

You must meet the following requirements within 30 days of the closing date of this announcement.

Specialized experience: For the CN-60, you must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the CN-53 grade level in the Federal service (For qualification purposes, the CN-53 is broadly equivalent to the GS-13). Specialized experience for this position includes:

• Managing the deployment and maintenance of enterprise platforms (i.e., Salesforce, O365, ServiceNow) and applications; AND
• Providing technical direction and expert guidance to product teams, developers, and platform administrators; AND
• Resolving complex technical problems between and among technologies, platforms, programs, policies, etc; AND
• Evaluating new and emerging developments with technology products, technologies, delivery methodologies and trends, and advancements in industry; And
• Participating on project design to adapt and implement applications development methods and models incorporating new technologies.

In addition to meeting specialized experience, applicants must also show proficiency in 1) attention to detail, 2) customer service, 3) oral communication, and 4) problem solving

CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT:
- A one year probationary period may be required.
- Must successfully complete a background investigation.
- Complete a Declaration for Federal Employment to determine your suitability for Federal employment, at the time requested by the agency.
