Facebook seeks an experienced Manager to join the State and Local Economic Development Policy team to support our infrastructure team. The role will support our internal cross-functional infrastructure partners to advance our economic development investments across the United States and advocate with external stakeholders. Candidates should have experience working in a cross-functional setting, coordinating diverse teams to ensure successful project execution. Candidates should demonstrate experience with network fiber, economic development, state public policy, legislative/government affairs, or advocacy. * Assist Facebook's State and Local Policy efforts with regard to infrastructure development * Track, analyze, monitor, and amend state legislation * Work closely with industry groups and legislative organizations to promote policies and positions that support our infrastructure teams * Represent Facebook at Industry conferences and before lawmakers * Bachelor's degree in Public Policy or related field * 5+ years of experience in public policy, working in state or federal government, economic development, advocacy, or government affairs or related activity * Experience working with the legislative and executive branches of state government * Advanced degree * Experience with network infrastructure Facebook is proud to be an Equal Opportunity and Affirmative Action employer.
