Provide leadership and coordination of company financial planning and reporting (FP&A), multi-year financial modeling, strategic investment prioritization, and budget management functions while also leading all accounting functions to ensure company accounting procedures and reporting conform to generally accepted accounting principles.RESPONSIBILITIES:Direct and coordinate financial planning and budget management functions.Develop benchmarks for measuring the financial and operating performance.Monitor and analyze monthly operating results against budget.Oversee daily operations of the finance and accounting department.Manage the preparation of all financial reports.Manage the preparation of financial forecasts.Prepare financial analysis for strategic contract negotiations and product investment decisions.Work with department managers to develop current and future business plans.Assist in establishing short and long-range departmental goals, objectives, policies, and operating procedures.Serve on planning and policy-making committees.Coordinate financial audits and provide recommendations for procedural improvements.ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:Recruit, train, supervise, and evaluate department staffCollaborate with Executive Team around business development initiativesKNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS:Master's Degree in Finance or Accounting preferred.Five (5) to Ten (10) years of experience in a senior level finance or accounting position.Experience in value-based care programs and/or health insurance financial operations.Knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, and cost control principles including Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.Knowledge of automated financial and accounting reporting systems (NetSuite preferred).Ability to analyze financial data and prepare financial reports, statements and projections.Knowledge of short and long-term budgeting and forecasting, rolling budgets, and product-line profitability analysis.SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY:This position is responsible for the direct supervision of the finance and accounting team.TRAVEL:This position requires up to 10% travel.EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.Minimum of 10 years professional experience with at least five years in finance and accounting management (ie, controller, assistant controller, finance/accounting director).Preferred Education and Experience: *MBA
