IT Project Manager
Technology is constantly changing and our adversaries are digitally exceeding law enforcement's ability to keep pace. Those charged with protecting the United States are not always able to access the evidence needed to prosecute crime and prevent terrorism. The Government has trusted in Peraton to provide the technical ability, tools, and resources to bring criminals to justice. In response to this challenge, Peraton is seeking a IT Project Manager with an expertise in software development and build and release management. * Be responsible for a multi-task order / multi-company environment of several development and testing teams. * Communicate technical information to senior staff. * Work with government clients and provide mission critical software solutions. * Support an enterprise level Agile environment with multiple SCRUM teams. * Report up to several levels of management to include Product Owners, Unit Chiefs, and stakeholder. Required Qualifications * BS degree and ten (10) years of experience in programming and software development and build and release management. * Five (5) years of experience managing multiple development teams contributing to a single product. * Three (3) years of experience with continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) of large enterprise applications supporting 10s of thousands of users while maintaining 24/7 availability. * Current Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility and the ability to obtain a polygraph Desired Qualifications * 5+ years experience with IC programs in DC/Metro area. * Managed multi-team projects. * Familiar with project management approaches and methodologies (eg Project Management Framework (PMF) and Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK). * Strong written and oral communications skills. * Highly organized self-starter with personal drive to "make sure it is right." * Experience with Agile development methodologies We are an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
