Description Job Description:The Defense Group at Leidos has an immediate opening for a Senior Information Systems Security Engineer to join our team in a fast paced operations and development lab environment out of Ft. Belvoir, VA. JOB SUMMARYThe selected candidate will be a member of the team supporting the R&D community. The candidate will provide hands-on Microsoft and Linux systems engineering. The successful candidate will be expected to interact with the team, customers, Government COR and Government PM and will play a key role in the architectural and design decisions the team makes and be able to articulate the impact of those decisions to leadership, management and customers (including government and military personnel). Candidate will provide installation, configuration, and operational use of a variety of operating systems, virtualization technologies, storage and hyperconverged infrastructure. This position requires DoD information systems security engineering experience (STIGs, vulnerability scanning--ACAS). PRIMARY RESPONSIBIITIES-Responsible for the integration of security architecture and engineering efforts into the information technology lifecycle-Administer ACAS scanner, run scans, remediate findings and report information to leadership-Administer EPO server ensuring security settings meet DoD requirements-Administer HBSS sever maintenance, configure and maintain rule based definitions to block and whitelist -Engineering, implementing, integrating and improving systems to meet particular needs with regard to building software/hardware components-Support technical infrastructure in Production and Development Data Center-Installation, configuration and maintenance of Windows and Linux Operating Systems-Provide health monitoring of systems, storage and networking-Prepare virtual environments to meet customer requirements, including software installation-Assist customers with issues involving every aspect of the Data Center-Prepare and update documentation including work instructions, standard operating procedures, system As-Built and training materialsBASIC QUALIFICATIONS*Require BS degree and 8 - 12 years of prior relevant experience in order to operate within the scope contemplated by the level.in lieu of degree*Experience with integration of security architecture and engineering efforts into the information technology lifecycle*Installation, configuration and maintenance of applications to support the customer needs*Engineering, implementing, integrating and improving systems to meet particular needs with regard to building software/hardware components*Active Top Secret DoD security clearance PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS*Windows Operating Systems 2012 and 2016*Linux Operating Systems Red Hat 7.x*Citrix Desktop Delivery Controller and VDI implementation and maintenance*Citrix Netscaler*ACAS scanning and analysis*Maintaining security posture including patching, scanning, updating *Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG) review and implementation*HBSS IPS rules configuration and maintenance *McAfee ePO server management and prevention of file execution*PowerShell scripting experience*SonarQube scanning and reporting*Microsoft Group Policy (GPO) updates, creation, maintenance and troubleshooting*Active Directory management*Storage implementation and management including NAS and NFS shares*Vsphere configuration and maintenance *Nutanix Host monitoring, maintenance and configuration External Referral Bonus:EligiblePotential for Telework:NoClearance Level Required:Top SecretTravel:NoScheduled Weekly Hours:40Shift:DayRequisition Category:ProfessionalJob Family:Security Architecture and Engineering Leidos is a Fortune 500(R) information technology, engineering, and science solutions and services leader working to solve the world's toughest challenges in the defense, intelligence, homeland security, civil, and health markets.
