Description Job Description:The Defense Group at Leidos has an immediate opening for a Senior Information Systems Security Engineer to join our team in a fast paced operations and development lab environment out of Ft. Belvoir, VA. JOB SUMMARYThe selected candidate will be a member of the team supporting the R&D community. The candidate will provide hands-on Microsoft and Linux systems engineering. The successful candidate will be expected to interact with the team, customers, Government COR and Government PM and will play a key role in the architectural and design decisions the team makes and be able to articulate the impact of those decisions to leadership, management and customers (including government and military personnel). Candidate will provide installation, configuration, and operational use of a variety of operating systems, virtualization technologies, storage and hyperconverged infrastructure. This position requires DoD information systems security engineering experience (STIGs, vulnerability scanning--ACAS).
