Description Job Description:The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) has a continuing requirement for Secure Enterprise Network Systems, Services, & Support (SENS3) for the continued operations and maintenance and evolution of the Homeland Secure Data Network (HSDN) and the Classified Local Area Network (C-LAN). In this hands-on position, you will work collaboratively to architect, design, build, deliver, and enhance highly available, scalable, real time systems. You will exercise your judgment in determining and recommending the best designs based on customer business objectives, timelines and other resource constraints. You will participate in major deliverables of projects through all aspects of the engineering development lifecycle including scope and work estimation, architecture and design, and testing.This role requires an experienced Agile Scrum Master to work in a Government IC environment. This role performs project management tasks to coordinate and prioritize user stories for implementation by team members. This role provides Key Performance Indicators (KPI) and metrics generation and analysis in order to track overall efficiency of software delivery across team. Finally, this role facilitates horizontal communication across team member to identify any impediments that may prevent team progress while working mitigation plans as needed. This position is located in Lorton, VAPrimary ResponsibilitiesExperience providing technical/management leadership on major tasks or technology assignments.Experience establishing goals and plans that meet project objectives.IT network and infrastructure technical knowledge.Experience directing and controlling activities for a customer, having overall responsibility for financial management, methods, and staffing to ensure that technical requirements are met.Experience interfacing with senior management and negotiating with clients on requirements and deliverables.Coordinate with personnel and teams on the classified portion of the program.Understanding of installation, configuration, administration, support, and maintenance of systems, including associated hardware and cloudExperience supervising othersFacilitate cross-team coordination, tracking and following up with external dependenciesCommunicate the status of progress, demo products to all stakeholdersBasic QualificationsExperience providing technical/management leadership on major tasks or technology assignments.Experience establishing goals and plans that meet project objectives.Domain and expert technical knowledge.Direct experience using JIRA/Confluence toolset for progress reporting and metrics managementExperience directing and controlling activities for a client, having overall responsibility for financial management, methods, and staffing to ensure that technical requirements are met.Experience interfacing with senior management and negotiating with clients on requirements and deliverables.Safe Agilist CertificationScrum Alliance Scrum Master CertificationExperience supervising others.Candidate must have Bachelor's degree with and 4-8 years of prior relevant experience or Masters 2-6 with years of prior relevant experience.
