The Professional selected for this position must be someone who has demonstrated the capability to analyze complex financial issues and provide business solutions. The candidate will produce monthly reports and analyze results compared to budgets/forecasts; provide ad hoc reports for use by CAES SVP of Finance, BU leaders, and BU General Managers for decision-making purposes. This person will work closely with sites and other functional organizations to achieve the expected financial results. Responsibilities As a Sr. Financial Analyst, your key responsibilities will be: Provide financial analysis to senior management, including but not limited to: gathering, analyzing, preparing and summarizing various financial reports and variance explanations. Assist in preparing monthly / quarterly business review presentations for senior management. Analyze and forecast sector functional department costs and communicate to sector department leaders Prepare ad-hoc Finance reports as requested for management. Assisting with special projects as needed. Communicate and coordinate timelines and deliverables with business unit finance teams. Focus on continuous improvement of processes and templates to better support the businesses with more efficient and effective approaches. Support in the preparation of the annual long-term financial plans (five-year financial plan) and budget process Performs other duties as assigned by the Manager of Financial Planning and Analysis. Qualifications Minimum Requirements: Bachelors in Accounting or Finance or equivalent education 3-5 years of relevant work experience MBA and/or CPA a plus Working knowledge of FAR and Government Cost Accounting Standards, as well as commercial (non-government cost accounting) Knowledge of business intelligence tools including Smartview and Oracle systems Strong communication, problem solving and analytical skills Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (specifically Power Point and Excel applications) and Business Financial systems Ability to Travel = 0-10% US Citizenship Employment Transparency: Cobham is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer and embraces diversity in our employee population.
