Arc Publishing is a fast-growing component of the Washington Post that is helping organizations around the world reinvent their digital presence with the same tools that power the Washington Post. Arc's Professional Services team enables Arc customers to achieve their goals by streamlining their onboarding experience and optimizing the solutions they build on the Arc Platform.

As a Technical Delivery Manager, you will have the following responsibilities:
  • Manage multiple teams including internal and external resources in the solution design, development, and delivery of client deliverables in accordance with a statement of work.
  • Form productive relationships with, and serve as main client contact to external clients throughout engagement.
  • Drive Arc and client teams towards a common plan that has a clear articulation of key milestones.
  • Ensure scope is delivered on-time and within budget.
  • Manage financial budget for individual projects and work closely with clients to set expectations on their monthly invoices.
  • Approve timesheets and identify staffing needs on projects.
  • Articulate status, manage risk, and escalate issues when needed.
  • Serve as a liaison within internal Arc teams to ensure client needs are being met.


The ideal candidate:
  • You have worked in a consulting environment with external clients, including senior and executive stakeholders, and have experience driving them towards a common goal.
  • You are interested in digital products, and are able to talk to clients at a high level about them.
  • You've worked on large-scale web development projects, and have an understanding of how multiple work-streams come together to make a final product.
  • You enjoy working closely with development teams.
  • You want to collaborate with a talented and supportive team focused on delivering high-quality websites to major organizations, and helping them take advantage of Arc's suite of products.
  • You have a desire to work in a fast-paced yet collaborative and supportive environment, and have a natural inclination towards challenging yourself.
