**Our client is hiring experienced Mortgage Loan Underwriters who will be permanently working remotely. The Underwriter will be joining a rapidly expanding team in analyzing loan applications and making loan decisions. Roles and Responsibilities: Perform underwriting of FHA, VA, and Conventional mortgage loans with company and agency guidelines. Review loan applications for accuracy and identifying any risk issues Analyze financial statements, income documentation and credit reports Determine and communicate credit decisions with loan officers, and discuss potential alternatives Maintain an updated knowledge of available mortgage loan programs Requirements: High School Degree is required. Bachelor's Degree is preferred Minimum of two years of underwriting FHA, VA and Conventional mortgages is required Must have solid written and verbal communication skills Direct Endorsement or SAR certification is a major plus.
