Position Summary:Within Nestle USA Corporate Decision Support, the Business Unit (BU) team provides financial and business acumen to support better and more informed decisions. The team acts as the FP&A arm of Nestle's Finance Leadership and supports the divisions and their respective FP&A teams. The Decision Support Analyst (BU) reports directly to the Decision Support Manager and acts as the key contact for the assigned division. The analyst will be responsible for leading dialogs with the division and functional teams, to have greater financial transparency into financial statements. Primary Responsibilities:Position responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:Perform variance analyses and ensure meaningful insight into drivers of monthly actuals and forecast changes for the assigned divisions. Provide value-added commentary to support KPIs and financials publishedSupport the Decision Support Manager in the preparation of monthly leadership presentations around business results, drivers, risks and opportunitiesAct as the primary Decision Support contact for the assigned divisions on financial reportingProvide research by line item for the P&L (actual and forecast) and by GL account for the Balance Sheet and communicate outliers to divisions Provide expert knowledge and guidance on corporate processes and initiatives for the assigned divisions (eg MBS, changes in reporting, ). Support divisions in ad-hoc analysesProvide audit support for the division by providing financial data and support in documentation requestsSupport NUSA Corporate Decision Support initiatives and perform ad hoc requests from the Decision Support ManagerRequirements and Minimum Education Level:Bachelor's Degree in Accounting / Finance or similar field3-5 years prior experience in Accounting / FinanceProficiency in English and language of the market (where applicable)Knowledge:Deep understanding of business environment, and good knowledge of NUSA product portfolioKnowledge of Nestle Accounting & Costing Standards and reporting standards/guidelinesGood knowledge of business principles and standard methodologies to ensure sustainability of business and support continuous performance improvementWorking knowledge of finance systems used by NUSA F&C, including Dodeca, Essbase, and introductory SAP/BWIntermediate/advanced knowledge of Microsoft Suite (Excel, VBA preferred)Skills:Strong analytical skillsSolid networking skills to manage relationships with business partnersCapability to manage several priorities and projects simultaneouslyStrong ability to optimize and facilitate the application of business processes Ideal candidate is results focused, a self-starter with strong initiative, naturally inquisitive, able to think independently and has a desire to make a differenceThe Nestle Companies are equal employment and affirmative action employers and looking for diversity in qualified candidates for employment.
