Marketing and Sales Operations Specialist Summary: Sparks Group is looking for a Marketing and Sales Operations Specialist to join a company in hyper-growth mode in Potomac, MD. The Marketing and Sales Operations Manager will be responsible for building and managing campaigns in Salesforce Marketing Cloud, optimizing lead management and lead scoring, measuring marketing campaign performance, and administering Salesforce. You will work closely with Sales, Marketing, IT, and Finance teams to evolve business processes, technology, database management and analytics to support the company growth plan. In addition to marketing and sales operations, you will be responsible for managing all SEO activities such as content strategy, link building and keyword strategy to increase rankings on all major search networks. You will also manage all SEM campaigns on Google, Yahoo and Bing in order to maximize ROI. The ideal candidate must be able to roll up his/her sleeves to work independently and contribute to the output and results. He/she must have the ability to prioritize issues, deal with ambiguity and manage conflicting deadlines. The candidate should also be creative, data-driven, and aggressive in delivering results. Marketing and Sales Operations Responsibilities: Manage and administer MarTech stack including platforms such as Salesforce, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, and others. Partner with sales and marketing to refine lead qualification process and analyze and report on campaign performance. Set up lead nurturing, segment lists, scoring and distribution of leads. Collaborate with marketing, sales, SDRs to refine the lead process, automate lead processing tasks and measure lead delivery effectiveness. Create and optimize campaigns and program templates for landing pages, emails, web forms. Develop, manage, and analyze Marketing KPIs, standardized operational reports, and dashboards to provide visibility into the business, conversion rates, campaign ROI and trends. Collaborate with Sales and Customer Success to manage opportunity pipeline, create new business revenue forecast, and onboard new clients into internal processes such as billing. Develop and maintain executive reports and dashboards that give insight into sales, marketing and company performance. Manage vendor relationships. SEO Responsibilities: Execute tests, collect and analyze data and results, identify trends and insights in order to achieve maximum ROI in paid search campaigns. Track, report, and analyze website analytics and PPC initiatives and campaigns. Manage campaign expenses, staying on budget, estimating monthly costs and reconciling discrepancies. Optimize copy and landing pages for search engine marketing. Perform ongoing keyword discovery, expansion and optimization. Research and implement search engine optimization recommendations. Research and analyze competitor advertising links. Develop and implement link building strategy. Work with the development team to ensure SEO best practices are properly implemented on newly developed code. Work with editorial and marketing teams to drive SEO in content creation and content programming. Recommend changes to website architecture, content, linking and other factors to improve SEO positions for target keywords. Marketing and Sales Operations Specialist Qualifications: Bachelor s degree in Business or related field. 5+ years of experience in marketing ops, sales ops, business ops, or similar role. Salesforce Marketing Cloud subject matter expert with experience creating reports, optimizing processes, and managing dashboards. Salesforce certifications preferred. Proven SEO experience. Proven SEM experience managing PPC campaigns across Google, Yahoo and Bing. Solid understanding of performance marketing, conversion, and online customer acquisition. Experience with Google Analytics, Salesforce Sales Cloud or similar platforms. Experience with A/B and multivariate experiments. Background in marketing/sales alignment including pipeline review, lead management, lead scoring, contact list management, and prospecting. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Superb time management, prioritization of tasks and ability to meet deadlines with little supervision. Qualified candidates should send their resume AND call Sparks Group for additional details.
