We have an opening for Big Data Engineer - AWS Location - Reston, VA(Remote) Permanent 3-4 non-negotiable requirements bull 4-6 years of related experience 1) 4+ years of experience in Design, Development, Implementation of Python, JavaScript and client - server technology based applications. 2) 4+ years of experience working with boto and boto3 for AWS. 3) 4+ years of hands on experience in AWS like Amazon EC2, Amazon S3, Amazon Redshift, Amazon EMR, Redshift and Amazon SQS. 4) Ability to build Python JavaScript frameworks and deploy on multitenant SaaS platforms. nice-to-have skills 1) 4+ years of experience designing web applications using React JS, Angular JS, HTMLHTML5, DHTML, CSSCSS3, JavaScript, AJAX, XML and JSON. 2) Experience working in Agile software methodologies. 3) Possess good interpersonal, analytical, presentation Skills, ability to work independent and Team environment. OTHER SkillsKnowledge Experienced with Agile practices methodologies (eg Scrum, TDD, BDD, etc). bull2+ years with Big Data Hadoop cluster (HDFS, Yarn, Hive, MapReduce frameworks), Spark bull2+ years of recent experience with building and deploying applications in AWS (S3, Hive, Glue, EMR, AWS Batch, Dynamo DB, Redshift, Cloudwatch, RDS, Lambda, SNS, SQS etc.) bull4+ years of JavaPython, SQL, SparkSQL, PySpark bullExcellent problem-solving skills, strong verbal written communication skills bullAbility to work independently as well as part of a team bullKnowledge of Spark streaming technologies, Graph Database will be a nice to have bullFamiliar with Hadoop information architecture, data modeling, machine learning, Talend bullKnowledge of Financial Products, Risk Management, Portfolio Management is preferred but not mandatory.
