Supporting the Most Exciting and Meaningful Missions in the WorldProject SupervisorThe Claim Review Team provides direct support to the Special Master's Office, comprised by a team of Federal and Contractor attorneys. The team reviews evidence submitted to the Fund for Personal Injury and Wrongful Death claims and makes award recommendations to the Federal attorney team. Under the supervision of a Project Manager, the Project Supervisor will perform the following duties and responsibilities while complying with established VCF Standard Operating Procedures. Duties and Responsibilities:Supervise a team of 26 Law Clerks and review their timesheets for accuracyCollect, maintain, and distribute production-related data for Federal Attorney Team Leads and Project Manager using Microsoft Access including:Attorney weekly production reportsTrack weekly, monthly, and yearly production statistics for purposes of reporting and attorney performance reviewsTrack Federal Government Case Information Management System reports and condense data into usable formatCreate PowerPoints for team meetings from agenda provided by Federal attorneysTrack claim approval assignments to Federal attorneysReview VCF-wide production reports and pull out relevant data for the attorney teamAssign tasks to team members, in consultation with the Federal Attorney Team Leads and Project ManagerTrack and follow-up on OIG fraud review requests and other fraud-related issuesCreate templates for and format Standard Operating Procedures Track weekly reviewer production for PAE staffTrack tasks that other teams are working on for the attorney team Distribute Quality Review emails to claim review team, track responses, and ensure resolution of issues raised after the initial review of a claimAssign claims to claim review team for reviewOrganize and maintain special project assignmentsOrganize and maintain example claims for various team discussions/meetings/trainingsTrack changes and update internal and external guidance and policy documentsUpdate or create flow charts according to requirements/instructionsCreate a database consisting of attorney work productMaintain, update, and improve various internal charts and graphs Provide Project Manager with assistance with monthly invoice preparation Assist with onboarding/off boarding tasks for PAE staffCreate, own, update, and maintain meeting and office hours Outlook calendar invitesMaintain various collaborative worksheets in Microsoft Office's OneNotePossess organizational skill and take direction from leadershipPossess exceptional writing and communication skills, with the ability to write in various formats and tones specific to the intended audience and purposePossess ability to work independently when given a goalExperience with claims management or tracking systems, preferred but not required Qualifications:Three years of progressively more responsible experience, including at least one year of supervisory experience, with proven capabilities and communication skills to successfully interact with clients and attorneysDemonstrated ability to oversee and coordinate numerous complex and time-critical claim support activities simultaneously, including technical/data processing support activitiesIn-depth knowledge of Access, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Excel, WordMust be able to anticipate the needs of the project and develop and execute detailed plans for addressing needs requiredHands-on familiarity with the Government's office and network environment, including but not limited to, data processing environments, including office automation networks, PC-based databases and other applications, and internet and server-based databases and other applications requiredMust be able to obtain a government security clearanceHighly skilled in coordinating across teams and with other Managers, Supervisors, team members, and clients Undergraduate degree required. Law degree, technical certification, or other pertinent graduate degree preferred, but not required. Paralegal experience helpful.
