Enlighten, an Alion company is looking for a Jr. Information Technology Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will work in a fast paced, small business environment, maintaining network devices, client computers, and servers. Use available technology to communicate changes, outages, and new features to employee-base. Duties: Administer Macintosh OSX and Windows workstations Manage user account access for various systems including G-Suite, Jira, O365 Assist users with day to day requests received via helpdesk ticketing system Document issues and resolution steps in organization ticketing system Update and maintain hardware inventory Communicate technical information effectively to non-technical users, written and verbal. Analyze, troubleshoot and resolve issues within the operating environment Create and edit IT documentation Manage network printers Configure and troubleshoot company email access on Android and iOS mobile devices Security Clearance: A government clearance is not required, but candidate must be able to obtain a clearance that requires a background investigation, and a polygraph. Required Skills: BS Degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Science or related degree. Educational requirements may be adjusted for applicable work experience. Work experience may be adjusted for highly specialized knowledge or uniquely applicable experience. 1+ year of professional experience in an IT role Familiarity with Git and Jira or other version control and issue tracking software Prior experience with MS Windows and Mac OS X Self-motivation; Ability to multi-task and prioritize open issues/ tickets accordingly Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications Problem solving skills and ability to review information and compile data appropriately as needed Work as a team member in keeping the IT team informed of operational issues and their status Strong customer service communication skills Desired Skills: Relevant IT Certifications are desired The following tools are a big plus: Python, BASH scripting Experience with JAMF MDM *CJ Security Clearance: None
