Let your imagination take flight supporting the Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD). MIL currently holds several multi-year contracts with NAWCAD in the areas of Cyber, C5ISR, and Information Technology systems. Summary The MIL Corporation seeks an Engineering Technician IV to support a Federal Government client at our Lexington Park, MD location. Responsibilities The Engineering Technician IV performs assignments that are not completely standardized or prescribed, selects or adapts standard procedures or equipment, using fully applicable precedents, receives initial instructions, equipment requirements, and advice from supervisor or engineer as needed, performs recurring work independently. Work is reviewed for technical adequacy or conformity with instructions. This technician performs at this level one or a combination of such typical duties as: Reading and following engineering drawings and work instructions. Assembling or installing equipment or parts requiring wiring, soldering, or connecting. Required Qualifications 15 or more years' experience in assembly of electrical, electronic machine or mechanical parts by drawings, specific instructions, or standard procedure. Experience with t ransit case production required. Ability to understand engineering drawings J-STD-001 certified IPC-A-610 or IPC-A-620 certified Education High school diploma or equivalent Clearance All applicants for this position must possess a current TOP SECRET clearance with SCI eligibility; please note that the clearance process considers financial background aspects.
