Mid-Level Network/Product Engineer with Active Secret Clearance HumanTouch is in search of a Mid-Level Network/Product Engineer to develop, install, configure, update and maintain our innovative line of Connect2IT! Kiosk and Smart Lockers. In this exciting position, you will document kiosk and smart locker architectures in various written formats (VISIO, MS Project, Word, etc.), implement complex hardware deployments, software upgrades, and significant projects and perform Tier III problem management, isolation, and resolution. You will monitor system capacity (CPU, memory, ports, disk space, etc.) and take appropriate action to report and correct any issues. You will coordinate with Project Management, Security, and Asset Management, Customer Service, and Helpdesk teams as necessary for problem support and project management. To ensure successful kiosk and smart locker implementation and ongoing performance, you will review and analyze daily reports and prepare periodic reports for device status and baseline performance; research, identify, and analyze trends of utilization and errors. You will use the applicable IT Service Management (ITSM) system to document trouble tickets and keep track of issues and resolutions, establish/recommend resolution strategies in accordance with fault, performance, or capacity-related items You will provide support for Kiosk and Smart Locker devices and environments, ensure corresponding documentation is accurate and maintained and conduct gap analyses as needed. Finally, you will provide results and recommendations to management for review and plan future case analysis, expected availability vs. capacity, and make recommendations for procurement and architecture upgrades WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS Familiarity with DoD Security Technical Implementation Guide and Network Certification and Accreditation Experience as a Network Engineer in SIPR environment Minimum of three to five years hands-on experience performing network engineering in a DoD Environment Senior level expertise in Microsoft operating systems (Windows 10), DNS, configuration backup, and government security practices. Good understanding of networking technology (Switches; Routers; Firewalls; KVM switches, Load Balancers; Security Products (VPN, NAC, 802.1x, etc.) Hands on experience with router, switch, firewall, and IPS configuration Understanding of IP-based platforms and addressing, DHCP, DNS, Cisco and HP products and technology, client/server computing. Familiarity with DoD Ports, Protocols, and Services (PPS), STIGs, and manual checklists Strong interpersonal and written/oral communications skills; capable of interfacing with all levels of management, project managers, development engineers, Help Desk team, and other technical and administrative departments Ability to solve complex systems problems quickly with little technical guidance and develop automated corrective measures Ability to demonstrate capabilities in organizational skills, project management, process improvement, critical thinking and analysis Ability to work in an environment of shifting priorities and capable of changing direction as needed DESIRED Aptitude to program in an administrative language, as well as prepare, test, and deploy scripts Understanding of videoconferencing systems such as cloud-based and on-premise TEAMS, Zoom, WebEx, Skype and others EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or comparable experience. Security+, SSCP, or CCNA-Security active certification CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS DoD Secret Clearance Requires verification of US Citizenship to meet federal government security requirements
