(HP 3PAR, NetApp) Practical knowledge of virtualization (VMware) Practical knowledge of routing and switching technologies (Ethernet, Fabric Channel Cisco Nexus hardware preferred) Practical knowledge of care and maintenance of operating systems (Windows, Linux, other Unix) Ability to develop detailed flow and relationship diagrams (for processes and data), and to accurately interpret and apply existing such diagrams Ability to clearly convey complex technical information to a variety of audiences from highly technical to non-technical verbally and in writing Ability to work closely and professionally with customers Ability to understand, follow, and support the enforcement of technical and security procedures Understanding complex systems and decomposition into smaller building blocks Practical knowledge of software development life cycle and tools Understanding of service delivery (ITIL) functions Experience performing root cause analysis of problems/incidents Ability to effectively use MS Office products including MS Word and MS Excel; MS Visio and MS Project expertise a plus Will accept technical certification credit for military experience, where possible
