Are you a highly motivated, self-directed, and results driven communications professional? If so, our client in Alexandria, VA is looking to fill a long-term, fully remote Communications Associate position and you could be exactly who they're looking for. We're looking for a one-stop-shop comms professional that can proof/edit, publish content via CMS, manage email marketing platforms, and be the go-to person for all thing's comms.
Communications Associate Responsibilities:
- Writing, editing, and proofreading press releases.
- Disseminating information to email lists using an email marketing platform.
- Creating documents and graphic images.
- Writing and editing web content and managing web pages using a content management system.
- Managing mailings, publications, presentations, and other communications products.
- Handling multiple projects in a fast-paced environment using critical thinking and problem-solving expertise.
Communications Associate Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, English, or equivalent.
- Five years' experience in communications, writing, editing, copyediting, etc.
- Experience publishing content to website content management systems (i.e. WordPress, Drupal, or similar).
- Experience using email marketing platforms (i.e. Everbridge, Constant Contact, or similar).
- Basic document creation and graphic design (using Adobe InDesign/Illustrator, Canva, or similar).
- Excellent communication skills.
- Working knowledge of corporate-supported software packages such as Microsoft Office suite.
