For more company information, visit our site at www. https://cherokee-federal.com/ SUMMARY The Bureau of Near Eastern Affairs/Office of Assistance Coordination (NEA/AC) requires support services to assist with project and program design, development, and implementation. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Conduct research and analysis on policy and programmatic trends Consolidate volumes of data to draft concise briefing papers, talking points, public affairs documents. Support outreach activities to the US Congress, media and other public stakeholders. Review quarterly reports and grant documents. Assist in program and budget tracking; Analyze quantitative and qualitative data related to projects awarded and other assigned tasks in support of US Government foreign policy initiatives. EDUCATON AND EXPERIENCE Bachelors or High School Diploma with 1 to 2 years' related experience PDS III candidate will be mid-level with moderate knowledge of US Government foreign policies PDS III candidate will possess the following skills: Basic interpersonal, writing, organizational skills, as well as Significant attention to detail Ability to be flexible in a dynamic environment Strong writing and decision-making skills, and exhibit organizational awareness. Demonstrated knowledge of and relevant experience designing and managing activities related to international affairs. Familiarity with US Department of State structures and processes, including experience working domestically or overseas at a US Embassy or in the Peace Corps. Outstanding communication skills (written and oral) and experience in accessing, designing, implementing, monitoring and evaluating programming, is preferred. Experience working with the Middle East and Northern Africa (MENA) region, Iran, other relevant countries and/or relevant language skills, a plus.
